Timber Flooring

Today the timber floor was laid. They had to level the floor before-hand. This is something they do not tell you about until pretty much the last moment. The builders tolerances and the tolerances required for a timber floor are quite different. So they had to grind out high points in the concrete and fill in low points. Another $800 bucks thank you very much. I need to find out how to do that job. Hour and a half work, and almost a grand in the skyrocket. Nice. Anyway the floor is looking good, although the pictures are not complete. They still have to put on the quad edging (scotia, mouse board) whatever you call it. Carpet in next. We also fitted some curtains and blinds and assembled our stools for the kitchen bench (before flooring). Hope you like the pics...

Kitchen Stools before flooring. We had to remove the oven prior to flooring. Splash-back in place.

TV Room. A/C install also completed.
