Native Trees...

Today we journeyed out to the Logan River Tree Farm (http://www.loganrivertreefarm.com.au) to have a look at what natives we would like to plant. What an amazing place, and so many trees of all ages. We will probably go the less mature ones so we can watch then grow. Scott has fallen in love with the QLD bottle tree, so we will get a more mature one as young ones aren't as effective.

Scott thought he would put his talents to good use and draw what we hope for it to look like.

On the plan the following is what Scott drew.

Trees that we like.

Cascade Lilly Pilly                    Tuckeroo

Eumundi Quongdond            Fine Leaf Paperbark

               Native Gardenia                 Yesterday,Today,Tomorrow

Fiji Christmas Bush        NZ Christmas Bush

Port Wine Magnolia                 Mock Orange

Alexandra Palm

QLD Bottle Tree

I am pretty sure when the time comes we will have to decide on which ones we like the most, but at least we know what we want. Most don't grow way too high, apparently the bottle tree grows to 20m but after a little research more likely to about 8m high.

Woo hoo...... we can build !!!

Covenant approved by Mirvac today, we are now one step closer to building, now just waiting on council, and then we are off....fingers crossed.

Scott submitted an amazing covenant application, so good Mirvac came back saying it was one of the best.

Well Done Babe, so proud of you.
